THE DIRECTOR'S REPORT by Pastor Bob Rieth
The Academy Awards aired last evening before a host of candidates waiting to hear if they had won. How we love to hear the praise of others. We want to be known for the quality of our work and our expertise in our craft. Equally important is the type of project and the message of the project.
When we see others do well we need to speak up and give them the recognition they deserve. Much good will come if we give honor where honor is due.
We, as believers, are ambassadors for Christ. Having accolades of men is good, but only if we also have the approval of God. Our goal should always be to hear the words, "Well done."
"His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!' Matthew 25:21 |

National Prayer Breakfast in D.C.
We had a sizeable delegation from MFI attend this year's National Prayer Breakfast over February 3-4. Forty MFI friends attended our annual MFI Luncheon where CBN's Jerusalem Reporter Chris Mitchell spoke. In addition to Chris sharing about his life as a newsman, we were excited to show a premier trailer of Unlikely Angel: The Ashley Smith Story - a preview of an exciting new feature film project from Ken Wales, Jerry Jameson, Brian Bird and Derrick Warfel.
