Keeping It Fresh: Twitter Was Act One
Jack Dorsey is the most famous man you've never heard of: He invented Twitter and has a potential game-changer in his new company Square.
You may soon hear all about him, though. His vision is make Square the payment network of the future. A card reader plugs into your smart phone and accepts credit card payments.
In true Vanity Fair fashion, the article about Dorsey and what he's doing with Square is extremely long, but very well researched and written.

Quick Tips: Hootsuite Analytics
Hootsuite is a social media application that allows you to work across all of your platforms (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) from one place.
Last week they launched their new analytics program, which is customized to your social web efforts and also allows you to create reports.
Some of the key features include:
- Track Facebook likes (and unlikes)
- Track Facebook Insights
- Clicks on ow.ly traffic (their shortened link)
But what we like best? It integrates with your Google analytics to show traffic, pageviews, and tweets on specific URLs.
It starts at $5.99 per month, but if you're using the social web, it's worth a look.
