TEVA MOUNTAIN GAMES 2010

Our next film school adventure is right around the corner in Vail, Colorado, June 2-9!

This school offers access to a greater variety of world-class athletes than any other. The action is fast-paced and the film subjects are brilliant!
This is our most popular school, and spots are limited to maintain our high instructor to student ratio. Hope to see you there!

Its own culture
BHUTAN: LAND OF THE THUNDER DRAGON

The Bhutan film school is also quickly approaching and we've LOWERED THE PRICE! Dates are June 14-25, with the edit in Boulder, CO, July 20-26.

Bhutan is extraordinary! It is the last independent Buddhist mountain kingdom in the Himalayas, seventy percent of its 18,000 square miles is forest, and the Bhutanese emphasize their Gross Domestic Happiness over Gross Domestic Product.

With help from fierce national pride and strict visa restrictions, Bhutan's culture remains authentic.  Amongst the treasures to be found there: fortress-like dzong buildings, the national sport of archery, and the masks and costumes of joyful townspeople during traditional festivals.

Griffon Expeditions will be guiding us and offering a variety of adventure experiences, including trekking, rafting and mountain biking. The people and traditions of the Land of the Thunder Dragon will be especially compelling subjects for your films! Please visit our website to see NEW PRICES and the ITINERARY!

Mt Kenya mountain

MOUNT KENYA
EQUATORIAL ICE

The first school of its kind -
travel with purpose and get experience on an actual Serac Adventure Films production! Set against the backdrop of Africa's second tallest and most spectacular peak, this school aims at the core of what we value most at the Serac Adventure Film School - to provide a platform for all level of filmmakers to get practical experience in an other-worldly setting and advance their careers.

The documentary that we will be producing is titled One Subject, Two Hearts, Five Perspectives. This film will follow heart transplant recipient Kelly Perkins as she makes her attempt on the technical summit of Mount Kenya (technical summit optional for film school students). Each filmmaker will be challenged to capture a compelling angle of Kelly's story.

Guided by Summits Africa, we will be in Kenya from July 5 - 17 and edit in Boulder, Colorado, July 20 - 26.  We also plan to make a fun stop at the Giraffe Center to feed the endangered Rothschild giraffes, and will drive to Kazuri Beads to experience some Kenyan culture and artifacts. PRICING and most of the ITINERARY are up on our website, and we also have a safari in the works - check in for updates!
