Outside/Serac Adventure Film School 2009

We're back!

Our first adventure film school with Outside magazine wrapped last weekend and, we're proud to say, it was a big success. We're definitely coming back next year! Check back soon at www.adventurefilmschool.com to see all the student films!

The Banff Filmmakers Workshop is completely full, but we are still taking applications for our Colorado Backcountry Adventure in January. Check below for details.
Banff Filmmakers Workshop

Banff Filmmakers Workshop November 3-9 (Full)

Our own Michael Brown and Keith Partridge lead a workshop in conjunction with the Banff Mountain Film Festival. This workshop is different from the Adventure Film School in that it focuses on developing your career in film. The two events are highly complimentary, and we recommend that participants who are serious about a career in adventure film consider both for next year.

Come be a part of the action and make your own film at Mount Everst Base Camp!

Trek to over 18,000 - ft for spectacular views of the Himalaya with Mount Everest summiters Michael Brown and Jeff Evans as your hosts and guides. Michael and Jeff were teammates with blind climber Erik Weihenmayer on his historic ascent in 2001. Michael has been to the summit four times from two different sides of the peak.

Though we are not aiming for the summit, we will reach great heights on our nine-day trek to basecamp. After flying into Lukla and landing on a mountainside airstrip, we venture from 9,000 feet up to the basecamp at 17,500 feet.
