Blind Skier's Edge - Official selection at the Kendal Mountain Film Festival

Michael Brown shooting Erik in Blind Skier's EdgeThe documentary features blind skiing and guiding, and an innovative skiing technique for the blind pioneered by Erik Weihenmayer and Jeff Ulrich, his guide. In this method, the guide models round carving turns by skiing in front and calling three-part commands. Erik and Jeff lead ski clinics around the country, teaching their approach to ski instructors and veterans blinded in the recent conflicts.

Michael Brown films Erik Weihenmayer and Jeff Ulrich on the slope.
Banff Filmmakers Workshop

Another successful workshop and The Banff Mountain Film Festival!

Our own Michael Brown and Keith Partridge lead a workshop in conjunction with the Banff Mountain Film Festival. This workshop is different from the Adventure Film School in that it focuses on developing your career in film. The two events are highly complimentary, and we recommend that participants who are serious about a career in adventure film consider both for next year.
