Iditarod 2009, A Balmy - 40F!
Iditarod 2009For the 2nd year in a row, David D'Angelo was back in Alaska to shoot the Iditarod from start to finish using a snow machine as a mobile shooting platform. This year's race was as dramatic as ever with blowing winds plummeting temperatures to -40 F. According to Dave however, "Once you get down below -10, it all feels the same."  The footage was used for the web-based Iditarod Insider, the official documentary of the '09 race, as well as for three, one-hour shows produced by Blink Productions for Versus.
