Adventure Film School goes back to the Teva Mountain Games 2009
Adventure Film School will be held once again at The Teva Mountain Games in Vail Colorado June 4-10th, 2009. With great access to the athletes and events our students had the inside track. The successful 2008 school produced films that won festivals, aired on Television and were the start of new careers. More details coming soon! Adventure Film School

Congratulations to Josh Levine, one of our students from the 2007 Adventure Film School on Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. Josh's film Walk Your Own Path will be screened as part of the official selection at the Durango Independent Film Festival in Colorado on March 4 - 8, 2009.

January 9-11, 2009, Wild & Scenic Environmental Film Festival, 3 Peaks 3 Weeks was awarded, 'Most Inspiring Adventure Film' this past weekend. Michael Brown was in attendance to accept the award and lead a workshop entitled "The Power of Story".

March 17-20, 2009,
The Endless Knot will screen as part of the official selection at the International Mountain Film Festival Domzale, Slovenia.

2008 proved to be an eventful year here at Serac Adventure Films, and in 2009 we will have more fun then ever. This past year we encountered new challenges and were brought on many adventures, at the beginning of the year we premiered our award winning film 3 Peaks 3 Weeks and wrapped up the year with our own David D'Angelo returning from the high seas aboard the Northwestern on Discovery Channel's The Deadliest Catch.

This month in Michael's Blog, he shares his experiences about keeping warm while filming in the extreme cold.

Serac Adventure Film's talented editor Lam Nguyen, had a successful World Premiere of his film The Silent Child at Denver's Festivus Film Festival over the weekend on January 11th. The film will also be screened at the Colorado Filmmakers Showcase Saturday January 31 at 8:00pm at the Tamarac Square Cinemas.

The latest episode of The DC, a local Colorado travel show hosted by Serac's own Ryan Ross and produced by Megan Leigh Sweeney, is now airing.
