Would you like to see the Alps of Switzerland in stunning IMAX
? Come to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science starting January 11th to see MacGillivray Freeman Films The Alps IMAX�. Our own Michael Brown was the director of mountain photography. The film and its cinematographers were awarded 'Best Cinematography' prize from the Giant Screen Cinema Association.

Coming Soon! We are working with the museum and MacGillivray Freeman Films to schedule Michael to do a behind the scenes slide show prior to a screening of the film during February. We will announce the date, if and when, in our next newsletter.

Mark your calendars and then come to one of the biggest events of the year, the Boulder International Film Festival where we are premiering our latest film for Rush HD, 3 Peaks 3 Weeks: For the People of Africa. This festival brings some of the best films, stars, filmmakers and parties to Boulder.  Plus, this year ALL ten women from the 3 Peaks 3 Weeks team will be in attendance.

This winter we are working with Erik Weihenmayer (first blind person to climb Mount Everest and star of our film Farther Than the Eye Can See) on two exciting projects.

  • Boulder Digital Arts, January 29th, a three-hour Adventure Filmmaking seminar. Michael will be telling the secrets of the trade.

  • Wild and Scenic Film Festival, January 11-13th, a talk about festivals, fund raising and making adventure films. Our film for Rush HD The Endless Knot is also part of the official selection.

  • Vail Symposium, January 31st, Unlimited Adventure Series.  Other guests include, Chris Davenport,  Susan and Phil Ershler and others.
Boulder Art Show!
Our friends Ivan and Bettina Lopez are holding a contemporary art show at the Boulder Airport in January 25-29. '5 famous artists from Northern Europe and 25 works of art.'  5Contemporary.com
Light of the Himalaya Light of the Himalaya receives 'Grand Prize' at the My Hero Film Festival
Light of the Himalaya awarded two prizes;
'Best of Festival'
and 'Best in Category' in the
My Hero Film Festival. This makes the eleventh award for this touching film.
