Are You FOR or AGAINST California Proposition 29?
California Prop. 29, which is on June 2012 ballot, would increase the cost of a pack of cigarettes in California by $1. Revenue generated from the tax increase, which the state Legislative Analyst's Office projects could reach $735 million annually, would be used to pay for cancer research, smoking cessation programs and tobacco law enforcement.
