We want to make you aware of important upcoming CARB workshops.  Your support and attendance are vital to the success of our efforts.  Please plan to attend in person or via webinar to voice your concerns about the detrimental financial impact of the pending diesel legislation.  The public is allowed 3 minutes per person to speak.  SPEAK UP AND BE HEARD!!!

The California Air Resources Board (ARB) will also be including a discussion on the proposed amendments to the Heavy-Duty Vehicle Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction Regulation (tractor-trailer GHG regulation) at the upcoming diesel workshops in September and October. Just Another Letter from the CA Legislature for CARB's Shredder?
Unfortunately, the ignoring of local concerns, the lack of economic analysis and the disregard for the economic and personal impacts of far-ranging regulations are not new at CARB. The AB 32 Scoping Plan was released with little regard to economic impact analysis, and when detailed
economic analyses were undertaken and highlighted important concerns with the proposal, these third-party analyses were buried in reports and their conclusions were ignored. With the
imposition of diesel regulations, CARB staff used faulty analysis that resulted in regulations that were off base and damaging to major sectors of the economy.
