Troubled Waters, Awakening Minds A FUND FOR PEOPLE BOUND BY SUBSTANCE ABUSE
Working in partnership with the Louisiana Disaster Recovery Foundation, local filmmaker Kimberly Rivers Roberts established "Troubled Waters, Awakening Minds" - a Non-profit Fund for individuals bound by substance abuse. The Fund will support the construction of a
local facility that will provide immediate intervention for residents
struggling with substance abuse in underserved neighborhoods.
The Fund will also enable those
individuals to be admitted to long term treatment facilities where they
will receive the education, care and counseling necessary to conquer
addiction and rebuild their lives. Help save lives, heal families, and
resurrect the City of New Orleans by making a tax-deductible charitable
contribution today!
