Greetings!
Nathan Betts teaching in the GRADE 7/8 Bible class. As the classes prepare for their journey to high school, it is important that they take all the knowledge they have accumulated regarding their faith and learn how to articulate it to their peers. It is a great privilege to have Mr. N. Betts here at PCS to give a detailed summary of how to do this. Using his experience and training, Mr. Betts instructed the classes on how to answer, and ask the right questions. The key text for this series was 1 Peter 3:15 "but in your hearts honour Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect." Nathan Betts is the Intern Apologist at RZIM Canada. He received his undergraduate degree from Tyndale University College after which, being a keen baseball fan, he worked on the Toronto Blue Jays Ground Crew for four years. Nathan is a graduate of the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics and has completed a MA in Bible and Ministry at King's College London through the Centre for Theology, Religion & Culture. Nathan has written curricula on basic Christianity and Apologetics for several Anglican churches in both Canada and the UK. Nathan and his wife Brittany reside in Toronto.
Yours in His Service,
P.D. Ogborne, Ed.D.

 Valentines
Instead of distributing cards on Valentines Day, our school policy is: "This holiday is a perfect opportunity for showing God's love to others. Instead of sending notes to each other, the students are encouraged to participate in a food drive." Please bring in a non-perishable food item on Tuesday, February 14th. We will collect the food and distribute it to a local food bank. What a perfect way to demonstrate the love of Christ to our community.
