Repent America Targets Second Abortion Collaborator |
 Repent America (RA) recently launched the Campaign to Stop Curtis Bay Energy and stopcurtisbay.com to expose and reprove a second medical waste company that is collecting, transporting and incinerating aborted babies and the items used in killing them. Without the help of companies like Curtis Bay Energy, abortionists would be forced to close their doors due to the inability to operate legally. Curtis Bay Energy has offices in Baltimore, Maryland, Reading, Pennsylvania and Pinellas Park, Florida. Last month, after a local medical waste company in Florida stopped collecting "waste" from the Orlando Women's Center, which is owned by notorious abortionist James Pendergraft, it was reported that Curtis Bay Energy then began assisting the location. Upon contacting the company to express the ministry's concerns, it was revealed that Curtis Bay Energy services nearly all of James Pendergraft's abortion facilities in the state. Pendergraft has been in trouble with the law on numerous occasions and has had his "medical" license suspended four times as a result. NYPD Confronted For Stifling Gospel |
Repent America (RA) recently filed a challenge in federal court against the City of New York regarding its unconstitutional noise ordinance, which prohibits engaging in amplified free speech, including preaching, without obtaining prior permission from the government.
In April 2011, the ministry and other Christians preached the Gospel on the busy streets of New York City with a small headset microphone to avoid being drowned out by traffic and other urban sounds. As they were preaching, they were approached by Officer Jason Harper of the New York City Police Department, who stated that they could not use the device without obtaining a permit, which by law must be requested five days in advance. Although the ministry attempted to reason with Officer Harper, and has advised City Council and other officials that speech cannot be heard effectively in the city's exceptionally loud environment without the use of amplification, the city has stood by their permit requirement.
On December 23, 2011, a formal lawsuit was filed against the NYPD in federal court, which asked that the city's permit scheme be declared unconstitutional as it will continue to inhibit effective free speech unless there is immediate intervention. Haw River Residents Informed About Babies Being Incinerated in Town
|
 The Campaign to Stop Stericycle (CSS), a project of Repent America, recently visited Haw River, North Carolina to educate residents about the incineration of aborted babies in a plant owned and operated in town by the medical waste giant Stericycle.
On December 6, the ministry went door-to-door speaking with neighbors and distributing copies of its brochure "Where Have All the Children Gone?" While some community members were apathetic to the fact that aborted babies are being burned in Haw River and piped out throughout the town in clouds of smoke, others were horrified. One man wrote to the ministry the same day to state that he had sent an email to the CEO of Stericycle to express his deep disgust. Stericycle transports medical and abortion "waste" from clients in over 20 Eastern states to Haw River. First and second trimester babies that are discarded by abortion facilities are being burned at the incineration plant, which is one of a dozen locations nationwide, along with tons of hospital and institutional garbage. The ministry is working to stop Stericycle from utilizing Haw River to incinerate babies like a modern-day Auschwitz.
Please pray that the Lord will continue to use the efforts of Repent America and its campaigns to halt collaboration with the abortion industry in America.
