The Limited Production 710 Yellow Toledo
Pelikan is excited to launch this exquisite new Toledo in a fresh and bright yellow color. The art of working with Damascus steel goes back thousands of years and involves engraving a delicately intricate pattern into the surface of steel. In 1931 Pelikan adopted this technique for the Toledo model to such acclaim that the design has remained virtually unchanged ever since. Today the decorative sleeve is made of one piece of sterling silver which undergoes a multi-step process to coat the motif with a layer of palladium, allowing it a silver sheen that will never dull.
Every Toledo fountain pen is a unique piece made in Germany with an exquisite attention to detail which makes each Pelikan feather come alive. Due to the meticulous work involved in creating each masterpiece, only 200 individual pieces are produced each month. The clip and rings are plated with palladium, and the nib - available in sizes EF, F, M, B - is 18-carat gold with a rhodium trim and an iridium grain. The 710 Yellow Toledo is delivered in a special gift box.
