This is the only time of year my schedule allows me to teach so I am sneaking in a cooking class. I am reaching out to anyone who does not cook, but wants to learn.
The secret to long term weight loss and management is cooking your own meals, as most of you know. Let me show you easy basics, and throw in secret sauces, spices and other ingredients which make short-cutting easy, yet healthy.
In this class I will start from scratch: chopping the vegetables and other ingredients for all of you to see efficient techniques. I will do the calculations with you to figure out how much we should make. I will make entrees with variations, including discussing vegetarian and vegan options, side dishes and desserts, all using healthy ingredients,
specifically aimed at weight loss, as well as being very quick and easy to prepare.
You just watch and then eat! I will serve up a delicious and nutritious meal at the end of the class.
This 4-hour demonstration will give you a vast quantity of information you can use for life in all your cooking. And you will get all the printed recipes and detailed information to take home as well! This class is ideal for everyone who is a novice or non-cook.
I am teaching at Lomitas Schoolhouse, which has a state-of-the-art kitchen, and is a beautiful light and lovely space.
