Hello Readers!
This is going to be a (hopefully) short newsletter, as I am on the road in Oregon and Washington doing festivals and have minimal time to work on it. However it occurred to me that this would be a great opportunity to talk about how to eat when you're traveling.
So first I am going to share the most incredible thing, which has totally changed the way I eat on the road. Recently I began using Air B&B and I am now sold on this fabulous service! People rent rooms in their homes or cottages, houses, etc. for a lesser rate than a motel/hotel room, and they generally are welcoming, have food for you, and a kitchen to cook in if you want to bring your own food! These places are all excellent in quality and the experience leaves you feeling as though you have spent time with old friends.

RECIPE! (only one this issue...)
I am publishing a slight variation of a recipe already on my Recipe Page. The addition of a Balsamic glaze made it sound different enough to re-print. And if you have not yet tried the original version of this salad you are in for a great treat! A huge hit at pot-lucks, guaranteed! Find the recipe on my Website Recipe Page.

EXERCISING WHILE TRAVELING
So the "theme" this issue is making a commitment to travel in a healthy way, and this young man does it a little to the extreme for some of us, but he has some excellent tips. Well worth the time to read his interesting and witty article.

LET'S GET MOVING!
Well I am not sure whether hardly any of you read my request to send your favorite workout recommendations, or you are not working out, but a tiny handful of you replied to my inquiry, so I will put it out there again and put the replies in the next issue.
Please send me a little blurb on the type of activity you do on a daily/weekly basis you think others might enjoy. Be specific so people can find the class/teacher/location, etc. Let's share this information so that those who are thinking about getting off the couch might be inspired by your activity!
