Northwest Side Hunger Walk
The 2016 Northwest Side Hunger Walk will be held TODAY, Sunday, September 25 to raise awareness and funds to reduce hunger in the local community and throughout the world. ALL Resurrection families are welcome to participate! The Northwest Side Hunger Walk will begin and end at Resurrection and participants do not need to register in advance. Sign-in will be at 1:00 pm on Sunday, September 25, 2016 in the Resurrection parking lot. Walkers will step off at 1:30 pm for the approximately 3 mile walk. This week is Spirit Week and the theme for the Fall Pep Rally is "Olympics."
Monday - Pep Rally (dress in class colors or theme):
Freshmen - Argentina (light blue & white)
Sophomores - Brazil (green & yellow)
Juniors - Germany (black, red & yellow)
Seniors - U.S.A. (red, white & blue)
Tuesday - Walk-A-Thon
Wednesday - Tie-Dye Day
Thursday - Twin Day
Friday - Superhero Day
Fall Athletic Picture Day
Fall Athletic Picture Day will be Monday, September 26 and the Picture Day ID # is RN906455X0. Please note, Monday is also the Fall Pep Rally and student-athletes are reminded that they must be in complete athletic team apparel for team photos. If a student-athlete is dressed for the pep rally theme, she must be able to wash off any face paint and change into her team apparel.

Fundraising Packets were sent home with students on Wednesday, August 31. These packets contain the mandatory Cash Raffle tickets. The first Cash Raffle Drawing will take place on Monday, September 26 at the Fall Pep Rally. Please send in your sold ticket stubs and payment by Monday morning!
Walk-A-Thon
- All students will be walking to and from the Pickwick Theater in Park Ridge.
- Students who bring in $50 0r more in pledges will be staying to watch the movie Sully.
- If we meet our financial goal of $25,500 and our participation goal of 95% students will earn a day off on Friday, October 7 (turning a three-day weekend into a four-day weekend).
- Get those pledge sheets in, girls! Students who have not yet turned in pledge forms and payment should bring them to the Main Office on Monday, September 26.
- Please note, the movie is only 96 minutes long and dismissal will be after all students have returned to school. We anticipate that dismissal will be at approximately 12:15 pm.

Student Progress Conferences
Student Progress Conferences may be scheduled with teachers on Thursday, October 6. Conferences will take place from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm.

Fall Wine Glass Painting Party
Parents, alumnae and friends (ages 21+) are invited to Goblets & Goblins: An Autumn Wine Glass Painting Party on Friday, October 21 at Resurrection. Reservations are $35 per person and include a wine glass to paint, all materials, and group instruction from Resurrection Art Teacher Jen Salerno. A cash bar will be available and participants are welcome to bring their own snacks. Doors will open at 6 pm, painting will be from 7 pm to 9 pm and the bar will close at 10 pm. PSAT Information
Students taking the PSAT on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 will be dismissed from school immediately following the exam (around 11:00 am). If a student needs to wait for a ride, she has the choice of either going to her 5th period class or going to the library for a silent study.
Open Houses
Open Houses for prospective students and families will be Thursday, October 27 from 6 to 8 pm and Sunday, November 6 from 2 to 4 pm. All Student Ambassadors should plan to attend both Open Houses. Help us spread the word and let your neighbors and friends know about the opportunities for their daughters here at Res!
