Golf Outing

The annual Best Ball Scramble Golf Outing hosted by the Resurrection Men's Club will be Sunday, September 11 at Tam O'Shanter Golf Course. Reservations available here - 7 am check-in and 8 am shot-gun start. All are welcome for 9 holes of golf, raffles, contests and lunch (lunch-only option also available).

Grandparents' Day Dinner

The annual Resurrection Grandparents' Day Dinner will be held on Wednesday, September 14 at 6 pm at Resurrection. Invitations have been mailed to grandparents in our database.

Adult Enrichment Course

All members of the community are welcome to participate in the Fall 2016 Adult Enrichment Course at Resurrection. The course is taught by Resurrection faculty member Mr. Mike Longo and is entitled "The Presidency, Democracy and the Future of America."  The course begins on Tuesday, September 13 at 6:30 pm and more information is available here, including the suggested reading list and registration information.

Northwest Side Hunger Walk

The 2016 Northwest Side Hunger Walk will be held on Sunday, September 25 to raise awareness and funds to reduce hunger in the local community and throughout the world. All student club officers and leaders are invited to the annual Leadership Breakfast on Friday, September 2 at 7:30 am in the library to learn about taking a leadership role in this event.

The Northwest Side Hunger Walk will begin and end at Resurrection and participants do not need to register in advance. Sign-in will be at 1:00 pm on Sunday, September 25, 2016 in the Resurrection parking lot. Walkers will step off at 1:30 pm for the approximately 3 mile walk.  Information & pledge sheets can be found here.

Fall Wine Glass Painting Party

Parents, alumnae and friends (ages 21+) are invited to Goblets & Goblins: An Autumn Wine Glass Painting Party on  Friday, October 21 at Resurrection.  Reservations are $35 per person and include a wine glass to paint, all materials and group instruction from Resurrection Art Teacher Jen Salerno. A cash bar will be available and participants are welcome to bring their own snacks. Doors will open at 6 pm, painting will be from 7 pm to 9 pm and the bar will close at 10 pm. Reservations available here.


Athletic News
Fall Athletics are underway!  Check out the Bandits Athletic page and come out to support the Cross Country, Golf, Swim, Tennis and Volleyball teams! Monthly Athletic Schedule 

The first JV and Varsity Volleyball games at home will be Tuesday, September 6 against Mother McAuley. Come cheer on the JV team at 5 pm and Varsity at 6pm.The annual Volleyball Pack-the-Place will be held on Tuesday, September 13 at home as Res takes on De La Salle with the JV team at 5 pm and Varsity at 6 pm.

The first Athletic Booster Meeting for the new school year was Thursday, August 25. The next meeting will be October 12 at 7 pm in the Cafeteria. See a complete list of Athletic Booster Meeting dates here.
Fall Athletics Parent Meetings - The Fall Athletics Parent Meeting for Volleyball, Cross Country, and Swimming were held on August 23. The Fall Athletics Parent Meetings for Tennis and Golf will be Monday, August 29 at 6 pm. All student-athletes and at least one parent are required to attend.  These meetings are a great opportunity to meet the coaching staff as well as other athletes and parents.
Student Drop-off & Pick-up

Students are to use Door 8 in the morning to enter the building before school. Drop-off is in the main parking lot by the gym and entrance to Door 8. No students are to use the Main Entrance unless they are arriving after the school day begins and Door 8 is locked.

After school, pick-up is outside Door 3 and Door 8. For safety of students and emergency vehicle access, the drives are to remain clear of standing traffic. Drivers must pull into a parking space to wait for their students. This will help alleviate traffic congestion and make the parking lot and drives much safer for those students who are walking to meet rides or leaving our campus.
Club Registration 

Club registration will be online on Wednesday, August 31.  Students will be receiving information about how to register. Students will also have the opportunity to learn about clubs during Club Fairs that will be held during lunch periods on the following days: Activity 1 Clubs on Friday, August 26; Activity 2 Clubs on Monday, August 29; and Activity 3 Clubs on Tuesday, August 30.  

Orchesis Tryouts

Orchesis tryouts will be Tuesday, August 30 (clinic) and Thursday, September 1 (tryouts) from 3:15 to 5:00 pm in the dance studio.  Questions may be directed to Ms. Kari Rogers at 

Fundraising Packets & Cash Raffle

Fundraising Packets will be sent home with students this Wednesday, August 31. These packets will contain the mandatory Cash Raffle tickets - watch for the packets and be sure to ask your daughter for them on August 31st!

Student Ventra Cards
Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors - Students who have a Student Ventra Card from the previous school year need to have them reactivated for the current school year.  To do so, please e-mail Mrs. Carlson at or visit the Main Office and provide the following information: the student's name, Student Ventra Card number and its expiration date. 

Freshmen & Students Needing New Cards - Students may purchase a Student Ventra Card at the Main Office.  Cards are available for $2.

Student Parking Permits
Student parking permits are available to purchase - please visit the Main Office or see the parking permit information here for the application.
