2014 Prom Highlights

The 15th Annual RSN Renal Teen Prom was a blast! It was great seeing all the attendees share their joy, challenges (dance moves) and hopes for the future.
Dancing Among the Stars - Selfie Time!
Teens who have kidney disease were treated to a night of dinner, dancing, entertainment and pictures with celebrities, some who are real and some who are paper thin! We are still perplexed how Anchorman ended up in the women's bathroom and Marilyn Monroe in the men's bathroom!
Thank You to Our Celebrity Guests
Our celebrity friends supported the Prom! Jack Black, Kyle Gass, Phillip Palmer (ABC News Anchor), Dale Davis (Shameless), Quinton Aaron (The Blind Side), Josh Emerson (NCIS), Nicholas Gonzalez (Sleepy Hollow), Erik Aud (Stunt Artist/Actor). Thank you for helping making it a memorable night for all!
Missing the Prom for the Best Reason
Isael wasn't able to attend because he was called for a transplant the Wednesday before the event. He's doing great and "peeing all he can pee."

His sister Elena joined us to celebrate and announce the good news of his successful operation. The audience cheered when they heard the good news and we all wish Isael a speedy recovery.
Memories to Last a Lifetime
One of my favorite movies is Pretty Woman where in the opening scene someone hollers "Welcome to Hollywood!" Los Angeles is filled with celebrities and people who are pursuing their dream of becoming a star. RSN is thrilled to provide an exciting event for young adults who have kidney disease. I hope you all felt like stars for one evening. You sure did shine.

The 16th Annual Prom is on January 18th, 2015. Can't wait!

Sincerely,
