Greetings!
During RSN's Poker Tournament I had the song "Try" by one of my favorite artists, Pink, playing over in over in my head. I should have had the song "Gambler" by Kenny Rogers on replay though; "You got to know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em, know when to walk away and know when to run", as I may have done a bit better in the game. |

Poker Summary The 4th Annual Beat the Odd Celebrity Charity Poker Tournament was a success thanks to our supporters, volunteers, celebrity guests and hard working staff.
Quattro really set the mood with their fantastic music and stage presence. Everyone walking into the event walked into a party, complete with delicious tacos (if you're ever in So. Cal, find a Mondo Taco, trust me) and a crowd ready to have some fun. We can't wait to do it all again next year.

I may not have won at the the tournament, but I'm sticking with my theme song of that day. Remember Pink's song lyrics when you wake up every morning, pursue your dreams, goals and make choices on medical therapies that may improve your health: "You gotta get up and try, try, try. You gotta get up and try, try, try."
Sincerely, Lori Hartwell President and Founder Renal Support Network |
