Greetings!
Happy New Year! We survived 2012. January is Prom season for RSN and we are busy creating a magical event for teens with kidney disease. Healthcare reform is starting to take shape and we need to be as educated as possible so we can ensure quality of care. RSN is vamping up our social media outreach to stay in touch more regularly, so please take a minute and like us on Facebook and/or follow us on Twitter. |

Healthcare Reform: What does it mean for people with kidney disease?
Jessica Nagro, Director of Public Affairs at Dialysis Patient Citizens, joins Lori Hartwell to explain how the new law will affect people with chronic kidney disease. Specifically, health insurance companies will no longer be able to discriminate against people because of pre-existing conditions, nor will they be able to place lifetime caps on policies. This interview will explain how the new system is going to work and how you can help ensure better care for everyone. Listen Now

Say Yes to the Dress | |
A Weekend of Glam! Last weekend, RSN and volunteers set up a dress shop at the Glendale Galleria with hundreds of donated dresses. Young ladies got to pick out the perfect dress, get some make up tips and get ready for the 14th Annual Renal Teen Prom called "Midnight in Paris", which will be held on January 20. We made the front cover story in last Sunday's Glendale News Press.
Teens: Make sure you send in your RSVP by this week as we are going to have a packed house again.
