"He who lives in harmony with himself

lives in harmony with the world"
~ Marcus Aurelius ~

OK, let's do it: let's talk about meat
This might be bold, it might be tough,
but it needs to be done.

Question: HOW SHOULD WE DEFINE MEAT?

Is chicken "meat"? (I know, it's not red)
Is fish "meat"? (yes, it does swim)
Is dairy "meat"? (no, but veal is)
and when a male calf is born, he is removed from his mother so that humans can drink her milk

So . . HOW SHOULD WE DEFINE MEAT?
I define meat in terms of its reality:

MEAT is . . .
              Manufacturing
              Endless
              Animal
              Torture

Don't believe me?
Check out these brief but brutally honest videos which capture the reality of
what MEAT means today.
Be prepared: they might be bold,
they might be tough, and if you still eat meat,
they need to be seen.

Did you know that every year in the US alone,
10 BILLION ANIMALS are slaughtered
to feed 7 BILLION PEOPLE?
9 billion Chickens
100 million Pigs
24 million Cows and Calves
more than 250 million Turkeys

CHECK THIS OUT: NUMBERS

Did you know that 99% of the food you buy
comes from Factory Farms?
(Farms should NOT be Factories)
Animals are treated as commodities without feelings; confined, abused, sick, denied their natural instincts and rights, and
genetically engineered before they
arrive on your plate.

Eating animals is neither necessary for survival or health.
