New KHC Executive Management Team Underway!
Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC) has been working on a new initiative known as KHC 20/20-where vision and strategy lead change and opportunity. This initiative was announced in an eGram to our partners on August 29, 2013.
KHC 20/20 is the name given to the Corporation's overall strategic plan and remodeling of the organization, which will continue over the coming months. The goal is a strategic realignment of staff to streamline efficiencies in program administration and generate new housing products to strengthen the network of partnerships and benefit residents of the Commonwealth.
As part of this initiative, the following have been named as deputy executive directors:

Lisa Beran
Deputy Executive Director
Legal Services and Compliance
Lisa is responsible for leadership and coordinating delivery of legal and governmental relations to the Corporation, as well as compliance requirements across all KHC programs and departments. Formerly, she served as general counsel and has been with the Corporation nearly six years.

Rob Ellis
Deputy Executive Director
Housing Production and Programs
Rob is responsible for leadership and overall administration of KHC's housing production and state and federal housing programs, including tenant assistance programs, asset and account management, multifamily programs, single-family programs, and housing contract administration. He previously served as senior director of Multifamily Programs for the Corporation and has 20 years of service with KHC.

Amy Smith
Deputy Executive Director
Business Services
Amy is responsible for leadership and oversight of communications, facilities, technology, employee and customer support, program accountability, and budget services for the Corporation. Formerly, she served the Corporation as senior director of Organizational Planning and Performance and has been with KHC for nearly 18 years.

Jim Statler
Chief Financial Officer/Deputy Executive Director
Finance and Investments
Jim is responsible for leadership and oversight of the overall financial operations of the Corporation. He has led the Loan Servicing Department and served the Corporation for over two years.

KHC's chief executive officer, Richard L. McQuady, announced his retirement effective Friday, November 30, 2013. In addition, as announced during the 2013 Kentucky Affordable Housing Conference in October, KHC's chief operating officer, Mark Offerman, announced his retirement effective Friday, November 30, 2013. As the KHC Board of Directors considers a replacement for chief executive officer, Lisa Beran has been named interim chief executive officer.
