In the Meantime
________________________________________

Just like the butterfly, we too feel the struggle of moving through our life situations. In the moment, we don't appreciate what is happening nor can we see the larger viewpoint. Our pre-programmed beliefs, fears and expectations are clouding and limiting our capacity to step forward. We find ourselves frozen, stuck or shrinking to a situation.

My invitation is to find value and meaning "In the Meantime" between Point A being where you currently find yourself and Point B being on the other side of the situation. It looks similar to this.

Point A -  [ IN THE MEANTIME] -  Point B

Every challenge can seem large when we don't trust ourselves to figure it out or to have the necessary skills or resources to make it to the other side. It is common to use the filter of lack or of what's missing when confronted with a situation. The filter of lack will have us feel frustrated, resentful, fearful and angry. Those emotions have us do things like blame others, complain, react, retreat, give up or settle. It is in those times that the situation appears larger because our focus, energy and attention is on what we can't do or what we don't have.

That mindset and those emotions probably won't get you to where you want to go. I am offering that in between where you find yourself, point A, and where you want to end up, point B is where your possibilities, learning, growth and freedom exist. You won't get to the other side being truly free unless you repeatedly interrupt what has this situation or any situation appear larger than you.

In the Meantime is the time to wake up and bring forth your best self to assess the situation and plan what's next. It is a time to shift and expand your mindset to taking responsibility instead of backing down. It is a time to bring forth clarity, confidence and courage to take the first steps in moving through the situation. It is a time where you call upon your best self to inform and guide you on the journey ahead of you.

When you are doing this, you are expanding, growing, evolving, overcoming the smallness and limitation that once had you feeling unequipped to move forward. You are BECOMING more and more of who is authentically and naturally equipped to handle anything that comes up.

In the Meantime is the time to tell the truth, accept the situation regardless if you agree with it or like it and forgive yourself for all the ways you brought on suffering to yourself or others.  Just like the caterpillar, that was part of your struggle to the other side. We must leave the safety of the cocoon if we ever hope to grow and expand beyond our perceived limitations.

To be your best self, your objective is not to remain comfortable. That is a limitation that will hold you back repeatedly. The objective is to consistently expand to the situation and be grateful for the learning opportunity. That journey is what has you become more and more of the greatness, brilliance and magnificence that is waiting to be expressed. Be patient with your process and be willing to experience freedom from your current limitations. 

In the Meantime is where you get to experience you and expand the relationship with yourself and your life situations.
