President's Message
Emily Pataki
Greetings Republicans!
I hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend with your family and friends. Being the wife of a veteran myself, I know how important it is to take the time to thank those that have served our country, and I appreciate all that you do personally to honor our soldiers and Marines. In July, the WCRW will be doing our part to thank local servicemen and women at our monthly luncheon, and starting in June, we will be accepting donations from our club members to help cover the costs of our military meals for the July luncheon. You can sign up to be a military donor at our June luncheon or by contacting Debbie Simmons at treasurer@wilcorw.org
With schools closing for summer and family vacations looming on the horizon, I remind you to stay as involved as you can over the next few months Despite the 83rd Texas Legislative winding down, Gov. Perry could call a special session to handle any unfinished business, in which case Republicans need to remain vigilant to insure our conservative values are upheld. With the kids out of school, now is a perfect time to bring your children to some of our events and start educating them on how the WCRW is working to protect their futures and their liberties - we will be offering half price lunches for students throughout the summer, as well as hosting some family-friendly social events in the coming months. We would love to see you and your families there!
Thank you again for your continued support of the Williamson County Republican Women. Your patriotism is as important now as ever!
Sincerely, Emily Pataki President

Membership Update
2013 directories are here! If you have not already picked up a copy for your home and office, please do so at the June meeting. Thank you to all the elected officials and conservative businesses with advertisements in the new directory. Your support allows us to provide this valuable resource to our membership at no charge. Thank you!

Fundraising
WCRW has two wonderful friends who help us with fundraising. Kathie Holliman of Hollidaze Gifts is a long-time supporter and often brings a wide assortment of Republican-themed items to club luncheons, including her popular "Republican Women are the Life of the Party" shirts. Kathie donates a portion of each sale back to WCRW. You can order these shirts by emailing republicanlady@ymail.com.
