President's Message
Emily Pataki
Dear Friends,
As April 16th nears and the tax man comes calling, we are reminded yet again why we must work hard to preserve our personal liberties and fight back against those who want us to relinquish more of them to the Federal government. We are blessed to have someone like Congressman Carter - who spoke at our March luncheon a few weeks ago - representing us in Washington and doing his part to defend and protect our Constitutional rights. We must do our part to protect ourselves as well, and that requires good people like yourselves to stay informed and stay involved. The WCRW is a great place to invest your time and your efforts, and I thank you for all that you do to support our club and the conservative causes we value.
In addition to April being the height of tax season, it also marks some important moments for the WCRW. We will be wrapping up our membership renewals, and I encourage you to renew if you have not already done so - we want to include you in our 2013 Directory! Other things of note include TFRW's Legislative Day on April 18th, which is a fantastic event to attend. Out club is sending a group, and if you would like to find out how you can join, please email me at
president@wilcorw.org. If you cannot make it down to the state capitol, come join us on April 6th in downtown Round Rock for a day of shopping and socializing - please see our social calendar for more details. Finally, our April Luncheon will feature Texas Land Commissioner Jerry Patterson, and we would love to have you join us. We love seeing our fellow Republicans there.
We look forward to seeing you in April. God Bless!
Emily Pataki
President

Fundraising
WCRW has two wonderful friends who help us with fundraising. Kathie Holliman of Hollidaze Gifts is a long-time supporter and often brings a wide assortment of Republican-themed items to club luncheons, including her popular "Republican Women are the Life of the Party" shirts. Kathie donates a portion of each sale back to WCRW. You can order these shirts by emailing republicanlady@ymail.com.
