President's Message
Emily Pataki

                                      Emily

  Greetings Republicans!

I want to thank everyone for making our Februay luncheon a huge success.  David Valdez presented a unique "snapshot" of life in the Bush '41 presidency, and I am glad so many of you could enjoy this privilege.  We have another great program planned for March - Congressman John Carter will be here to fill us in on what is happening in Washington and how that affects us here in Williamson County.  Please join us and help give him a warm welcome.

TFRW Legislative Day is fast approaching.  It will be held this year on April 18th, and the WCRW would like to make a strong showing.  If you would like to participate and be a part of this great tradition, be sure to fill out and send in your registration form by March 6th.  Click on the link below.

We are looking for a few key people to get involved in various committees in our club.  If you are interested in contributing your talents, please contact me at

Thank you again for all that you do for conservative causes in Williamson County!

Caring For America

Crystal Caviness, 2009-2012 Care For America/Literacy Chair, and Dolores Hailey, current committee chair, donated the signed books from WCRW's 2012 meeting speakers to the Hutto Library on January 29th.

As Librarian Yasmeen Jehangir happily accepted the books, she shared her experience in setting up the Hutto Library.  Her successful creation of a full-service library began with opening boxes of books in an unfinished building.  Computers with WI-FI capability and help with completing job applications on- line are now available.  Ms. Jehangir's dedication to the importance of reading impacts the Hutto community with Story Time every Thurday morning for preschool children as a rewarding example.
