Environmental education made easy.
October 2014

In this season of tricks and treats, we want to remind you that the trick to effective community education is to be clear, concise, and direct. It will be a treat for your community when they learn the whats, whens, wheres, and hows of correct recycling and waste reduction, thanks to your efforts.

Eco Partners makes this frightfully easy for you. We research, write, and print quarterly newsletters and specialty publications tailored to your recycling and waste reduction programs.

One reason our products are so effective is because of the "wicked good" staff who work on them. Read more below about our Trash Talk! artist, Vandra Pentecost Linder, and her upcoming art exhibit as the Indianapolis Art Center's "Skip McKinney Faculty of the Year"!

Don't be haunted by a lack of environmental education in your community! Call us today at 317.450.3346 or visit us online for details on our community, student, and online environmental communication products and how we can help.

We are proud to share that Vandra Pentecost Linder, the artist who creates all the colorful artwork for our Trash Talk! publication, was chosen for the Indianapolis Art Center's "Skip McKinney Faculty of the Year" Fellowship.

According to the Indianapolis Art Center, this $20,000 fellowship is awarded to a "faculty member who exhibits excellence in his/her art, excellence in teaching, and focuses on building community through art."

In our "Behind the Curtain" article last year, Pentecost Linder explained her use of art in environmental education. "I am an advocate to help provide education resources to youth to help them create a better interaction with and awareness of our environment," she said.

As part of the award, Pentecost Linder's art will be exhibited at the Art Center December 5 - January 30, 2015. A grand opening with the artist will be held December 12 from 6 - 8 pm. Congratulations, Vandra, on this well-deserved recognition!
