Often I work with prospects - or even current customers -they think because they have great software, they should be able to shorten the time to fill. They are right! However, there are a few internal processes that need to be in place in order for this to happen.
Although we have many different staffing niches using our software, the process can be pretty standard. Please note that you may not have access or be using all the tools mentioned below. Please check with your system Admin or Account Manager if you have questions about any of the following features.
An Order Tale
It's a busy day at ABC Staffing. Orders are coming in via phone, email and even through the Customer Portal. Half the battle (of getting the order) is already won. Now it's time to tackle the other half: finding the right employee to fill the customer need.
Good thing Order Options have been set up. With Order Options, you can breeze through the entry process, since the job title is already linked to the proper WC code and markup. It was also helpful that Requirements flowed down from the parent Customer, causing you to not worry about reading through notes to see the exact requirement of drug test and background check.
Auto Match is such a handy feature. You are sure to add a couple of the major skills needed for the assignment. Once these have been added, click on Actions>Auto Match, providing a great starting list of candidates to look at. Since this needs to be filled ASAP, you check the box for Include Requirements and Include Radius Within; to make your search matches even closer.
A list of potentials is returned, which you can quickly search through using Quick Preview. Once you have located the top contenders, a mass email or text message is sent out. Why not let them come to you while you repeat the same process with your other open orders? Don't forget to add them all as Candidates to your open order. That way your team members can easily see who is being considered and might even jump in to help you out!
Now take a look at your current process. Are you using the features mentioned in our scenario to help you quickly fill open orders? Want more information? Click on any of the hyperlinks to see previous Tips on that subject, or contact your Account Manager.
