Pressure is Coming

Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness?

When a nation turns away from God, God's grace will be removed from that nation and eventually judgment must come.

Believing Christians in the Western nations must come to grips with the fact it has been a very long time since they have been a significant force for good, that is being "salt and light" in the society. All they need do is compare themselves to their brothers and sisters in Christ in China or any other such persecuted nation. In the United States, perhaps the last time any move of significance happened was in the early 1970's during the "Jesus Movement" when many young people and hippies were saved.

Since then, we have seen one failed movement after another, many political in nature that rally the people around moral causes that end up creating a mixture within the church and divisions in the society. This is based on mans thinking, not God's and while overall societal and church lawlessness grows and the salvation of souls happens only in spite of "the church" because these are movements built by men and not God and God is no respecter of men. Built to rally groups for votes rather than win souls, the "Evangelical" church in America has essentially become a PAC, a "political action committee, "that unites with others in consensus just as the politicians in Washington do so because they agree that they are against legalized abortion or against homosexual marriage. Certainly, that is not to suggest that the moral causes are incorrect, these most assuredly are and should be preached on and taught about from the pulpit. However, when a group of Biblical believers unite themselves with unbelievers, nominal Christians, (i.e. those who do not hold to the Scriptures as the one and only authority) Rabbinic Jews, Muslims and other religious people who hold to similar moral beliefs - they have only succeeded in uniting with unbelievers based on the law at best, therefore no unity of Spirit, which means the entire move, is now void of power and authority. Meanwhile, the only church growth is transfer growth; that is from small churches that are shrinking to the mega-churches that are generally "tickling ears."

Throughout history when God's people were obedient, He defeated their enemies and they prospered. However, when they were disobedient, their enemies, whether from within or outside, overtook them and put them into bondage. This pattern is very clear throughout Israel's history in the Old Testament and as we follow how the gospel spread around the world, how outward persecution helped and how the deceived false church hindered it. This pattern continues today and is consistent with how the church is both growing and declining around the world except for one new and horrific feature. In many parts of the world, mainly the Middle East, the military and intelligence apparatus of the former Christian nations of the West (the NATO Alliance) in concert with, and for the woman who rides the beast, are elevating and empowering the false religion of Islam and wiping out Christianity in the process.

Indeed, the majority of these churches in the Middle East are deceived and nominal at best themselves and is in need of repentance, solid Scriptural teaching, and revival. Yet, we should be filled with dismay over the fact that our country and the former countries that sought to send missionaries out into the world are now sending their armies to fight the false "war on terror" that is really a war to fulfill the desire of the woman and her lust for oil and riches.

Today the church in the West is filled with deception as the churches have been infiltrated with false teachers and false prophets that have led the sheep astray to the broad way that leads to destruction. For almost 30 years a number of watchman have been sounding the alarm trying to warn the sheep of the coming disaster but only a few have heeded the warning while more and more big named Evangelical leaders have taken the plunge into apostasy of various kinds. This has all been well documented on Moriel, in Be Alert and on our sister ministries. Meanwhile the enemy like a snake is coiled and ready to strike and persecution is coming, this may be the only thing that will awaken the church.

Lord Jesus, please awaken and save your church!
