We can provide care for so many families and children because so many people, partners and organizations in our community care to help. Thank you all!

AN ABUNDANCE OF ACTIVITIES & APPRECIATION!
|

We're thankful for your ongoing support.
This "hand"some turkey is a drawing from one of the children a few years ago. It's a timeless reminder of the tradition of sharing that takes place at Thanksgiving. It also reflects the "hand" our kids receive from people, partners and organizations throughout our community. Your generosity, in the form of donated funds, clothing, quilts, toys and more, helps our kids experience hope and healing. And more importantly, the chance to celebrate a healthy Thanksgiving. Thank you for your support and Happy Thanksgiving! If you're interested in supporting the mission of Clarity, now it's as easy as shopping on Amazon.com. Amazon will donate 0.5% of the price of your eligible AmazonSmile purchases to the charitable organization of your choice. Nominations now being accepted for 2016 Kathy Cunningham Mental Health Advocacy Award.
The Kathy Cunningham Mental Health Advocacy Award was created to recognize and remember the 30+ years Kathy spent advocating for mental health care and awareness. Kathy passed away in 2013. Patti Derr was the 2015 recipient, pictured here between Kathy's son, Steve Owens, and nominator, Selina Catala, from The Center for Health Care Services. This award is a wonderful way to show appreciation for an unsung mental health advocate. In addition to the award, the recipient will also receive $500. Nominations will be accepted through December 31, 2015. Click here to download the nomination form. Clarity CGC welcomes Commissioner John Specia.
We were honored to have Commissioner John Specia from the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services visit our campus last week. Judge Specia, here with Clarity CGC President & CEO, Fred Hines, received a tour of our campus expansion. He also had the chance to say "hello" to a team of CPS caseworkers who happened to be on campus using the Clarity CGC facilities for a meeting.
Thank you for visiting Commissioner Specia!
