Patti Derr, pictured here between Kathy's son, Steve Owens, and nominator, Selina Catala, from The Center for Health Care Services, was recognized in June with the 2015 Kathy Cunningham Mental Health Advocacy Award. She received the award and $500 check from Steve and Clarity CGC President and CEO Fred Hines during the luncheon for Claritycon2015.

The Kathy Cunningham Mental Health Advocacy Award was established in memory of a devoted advocate and Clarity CGC employee who spent over 30 years supporting mental health. Kathy passed away in 2013.

Clarity CGC is forming a new Teen Group beginning on Monday, January 4, 2016. The group sessions will provide a confidential place for teens (ages 14-17) to discuss relationship issues with other teens. Participants will have the opportunity to grow in their ability to establish and maintain healthy, meaningful relationships. They will learn about themselves and their relationships through peer interaction.

WHEN: Every Monday, 4:30 - 6:00 pm, beginning January 4, 2016

WHERE: Clarity Child Guidance Center Outpatient Campus, 2135 Babcock Road, 78229

COST: $25/session (may be a covered benefit under your insurance plan)
