Kathy's son Steve Owens, nominator Selina Catala, from the Center for Health Care Services, and 350 luncheon attendees were on hand to recognize Patti Derr (center in photo) as the recipient of the first Kathy Cunningham Mental Health Advocacy award. Clarity CGC President and CEO Fred Hines made the award announcement.

The award was established in memory of a devoted advocate and Clarity Child Guidance Center employee who spent over 30 years supporting mental health. Kathy passed away in 2013.

Rain couldn't keep away over 300 attendees for Claritycon2015, held on June 18 & 19 at the new Norris Conference Center. Responses received during the event, and early follow-up survey results indicate the conference and over 25 speakers provided important and beneficial information for the mental health professionals, teachers and interested community members who attended the event. The new location was a hit, too!

Survey results are being evaluated for ways to enhance and improve Claritycon2016! Thank you for your attendance and input!
