Claritycon2015 Breakout session #6 - Deprofessionalizing Young People's Experiences - A Culturally-grounded Practice - Marcela Polanco, PhD.
Dr. Marcela Polanco is a family therapist and Associate Professor at Our Lady of the Lake University. She is a Program Director, and the Certificate Director of the Psychotherapy Services to Spanish Speaking Populations bilingual program. In her Claritycon2015 breakout session, Dr. Polanco will discuss the relationship between the therapist and young people and their families situated from a perspective of cultural humility.

Dr. Mason is an Assistant Professor of Special Education at The University of Texas at San Antonio, where he directs the TEAM Autism Center and verbal behavior laboratory. His Claritycon2015 breakout presentation is designed for counselors,therapists and educators who work with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
