Save the dates for Claritycon2015 - Thursday & Friday, June 18-19, 2015

We are pleased to announce that the Thursday keynote speaker for Claritycon2015 will be Nancy C. Andreasen, M.D, PhD, Andrew H. Woods Chair of Psychiatry and director of the Psychiatry Iowa Neuroimaging Consortium, University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine.

Dr. Andreasen is a foremost authority on schizophrenia and a recipient of the President's National Medal of Science. Her list of accomplishments includes pioneering the use of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to identify brain mechanisms of mental illnesses, insight into brain mechanisms underlying language, emotion and the creative process, and recognition of the association between creativity and bipolar disorder.

Dr Andreasen has published 15 books, was Editor-in-Chief of The American Journal of Psychiatry for 13 years and author of the article Secrets of the Creative Brain, recently published in the Atlantic Magazine.

This promises to be a thought-provoking keynote presentation!

Please save the date for Claritycon2015. The event this year is scheduled for Thursday and Friday, June 18 and 19, and will be held at a new location - the "new" Norris Conference Center and Red Oak Ballroom, opening soon on Loop 410 near Blanco Road. The new location was based on attendee feedback for a central, parking-friendly location.

We will be making another announcement soon on our Friday keynote speaker and when you can begin registering for this event!

It was a holly, jolly caroling time!

Thank you to the wonderful Rick Cavender and the staff from City Year, for leading the kids at Clarity CGC in a lively time of Christmas caroling!

Thanks to Rick and his "elves" the dining hall was filled with the sounds of children singing their favorite carols. It was a joyful day led by some very special people.

We appreciated the musical gift!
