big news: our claritycon2015 luncheon speaker will be creigh deeds
|
Save the dates for Claritycon2015 - Thursday & Friday, June 18-19, 2015
We are pleased to announce the luncheon speaker for Claritycon2015 will be Virginia State Senator Creigh Deeds. Senator Deeds was the subject of a powerful 60 Minutes profile earlier this year and his story, and mental health advocacy, was recently profiled in the Washington Post.
Senator Deeds will share his moving and personal story as our very special luncheon speaker at Claritycon2015. The event this year is scheduled for Thursday and Friday, June 18 and 19, and will be held at a new location - the "new" Norris Conference Center and Red Oak Ballroom, opening soon on Loop 410 near Blanco Road. The new location was based on attendee feedback for a central, parking-friendly location.
We are finalizing details on our keynote speaker, and will be making another announcement soon. In the meantime, please save the dates!
For information on Claritycon2015 sponsorship opportunities, please contact Kim Bruno or call 210.582.6406.

construction: campus expansion on track
| 20 additional beds including 6 reserved for emergency services
It's exciting to watch the progress on the campus expansion, and even more fulfilling to know we'll be able to serve more kids struggling with mental illness.
The expansion will eventually include the new unit and twenty additional beds, an outpatient facility, indoor gymnasium, and more. We're so thankful for the many supporters who are making this project possible.
Watch for a future announcement on an "opening event" in 2015.
