please share: kathy cunningham mental health advocacy award

Applications being accepted through December 31, 2014

This is one of our favorite photos of Kathy Cunningham  -  Whataburger cup in hand, greeting friends and friends-to-be at a conference.

As many of you know, Kathy passed away in November 2013. She left behind a loving family, many friends, and a legacy of service, especially as an advocate for children's mental health.

As we announced at claritycon2014, Clarity CGC created an award in her memory to recognize her years of service to the kids of our community. It is intended for people on the front lines, advocating for children's mental health. Please click to download the flyer below to see the qualifications and submit your nominations. All nominations must be received by midnight, December 31, 2014.

We will announce the recipient of the Kathy Cunningham Mental Health Advocacy Award at claritycon2015.

big news: speakers for claritycon2015 and monthly ceu's to be announced soon

National speakers to headline claritycon2015 keynote & lunch

The claritycon2015 conference team is nearly ready to reveal the keynote and luncheon lineup! Like 2013 and 2014, our objective is to have speakers who are nationally-known in their field, and bring a powerful perspective.

We have also been reviewing survey comments from claritycon2014 for breakout topics and are finalizing breakout speakers, too. Thank you to all who attended claritycon2014 for your input.  Watch for more details on our website.

We'd also like to thank all the people who submitted ideas for our 2015 monthly community CEU events. We are working on those topics as well and will be announcing the first CEU, scheduled for January 17, soon.

Congratulations to Megan Colletta, LCSW! Her name was drawn for the $25 Amazon gift card from the suggestions for our 2015 CEU topics. Thank you Megan!

If you did not have a chance to submit a topic and would still like to do so, please email Beth Confer with your idea. We want to know what topics related to children's mental health would be beneficial learning opportunities for you.
