october 14: join us for one in five minds presents: a conversation with liza long

Author of viral blog post, 'I am Adam Lanza's Mother'

Liza Long

Please plan to join us on Monday, October 14, in the Whitley Center at the Oblate School of Theology for One in Five Minds Presents: A Conversation with Liza Long.

This event is presented by Clarity Child Guidance Center, sponsor of the One in Five Minds advocacy campaign, and the Oblate School of Theology.

Liza is an author from Boise, Idaho, and the mother of four exceptional children (three boys and one girl), one of whom has a mental illness. Following the Newtown shootings in December 2012, Liza wrote the blog post, 'I Am Adam Lanza's Mother': A Mom's Perspective On The Mental Illness Conversation in America.

During this conversation, Liza will discuss her experiences when her blog post went viral, as well as life raising a child with a mental illness.

To reserve your seat, please RSVP today. One In Five Minds
