We are a nonprofit mental health treatment center providing programs designed specifically for kids ages 3-17. Our goal is to provide families throughout South Texas greater access to children's mental health care regardless of their ability to pay.

Tiffany N. Thomure, M.D., joins treatment team 

    

Tiffany N. Thomure, MD

Tiffany N. Thomure, M.D., a child and adolescent psychiatrist, has joined the Clarity Child Guidance Center treatment team. Dr. Thomure will provide inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services at Clarity CGC's main campus.

 

 "I'm excited to be working with Clarity," says Dr. Thomure. "I completed part of my fellowship training here, and I have a great respect and appreciation for the people, care and programs at Clarity."

Thomure is a member of Southwest Psychiatric Physicians (SPP), a group of ten child and adolescent psychiatrists that treat children at Clarity CGC. Clarity CGC currently has the largest staff of child mental health professionals in the region and offers inpatient, residential, partial hospital and outpatient services.

copper ridge: build it up campaign to benefit clarity cgc 
Clarity CGC to receive donation of up to $1,000 for land sale and $1,500 for a home contract in August

 
Copper Ridge: Build It Up is ending the summer of 2013 with a splash! Southerland Communities, a National Land Partners affiliate, along with local builders, McMillin Homes and WhiteStone Custom Homes, will make a donation of up to $1,000 for every land sale and $1,500 for a home contract during the month of August.

Build It Up is a monthly philanthropic program from Copper Ridge that has raised an estimated $23,000 for local charities. Through the Build It Up program, Copper Ridge, McMillin Homes and WhiteStone Custom Homes are building a greater community, by creating awareness and support for non-profit organizations.

Clarity CGC provides over one million dollars in uncompensated charitable care each year, and hundreds of thousands more to children who are underinsured. Campaigns like Build It Up are important for helping us provide mental health care to children or adolescents, regardless of their family's ability to pay. If you, or someone you know, is in the market for a new home, we encourage you to visit Copper Ridge!    

WHEN: The entire month of August 2013.

WHERE: Copper Ridge Property, 5737 Hwy. 46, New Braunfels, TX 78132 (Located in the Texas Hill Country on Hwy. 46, just 5 miles west of Loop 337 in New Braunfels)

august 29: new parenting class sessions begin        

Register to attend our English or Spanish parenting classes, on Thursday mornings or evenings     

 

Clarity CGC will begin the next series of parenting classes on Thursday, August 29. Classes in English will be held 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. Thursday mornings at our Outpatient Campus on Babcock, and 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. Thursday evenings at the Main Campus on Tom Slick Drive. 

 

Classes in Spanish will be held Thursday mornings 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the Outpatient Campus, and 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Thursday evenings at the Main Campus.  

  • August 29 - Creating a Healthy Family
  • September 5 - Communication Within the Family
  • September 12 - Establishing Authority as a Parent and Using Effective Discipline Techniques
  • September 19 - Dealing with Anger and Conflict in the Family 
  • September 26 - Nurturing Children's Self-Esteem 
  • October 3 - Raising 21st Century Kids  
Cost: $5.00 per session (financial assistance available)
