"Adolescent Brain Development" exceeds 32,000 views on Clarity CGC Hope for Children 1 YouTube Channel!

Jeannie Von Stultz, PhD, psychologist and Director of Mental Health Services for Bexar County Juvenile Probation, was the presenter for our most viewed video to date - "Adolescent Brain Development."

The video is one of over 130 uploads on the Clarity CGC Hope for Children 1 YouTube channel.

During her April 2010 community presentation, Dr. Von Stultz reviewed how and why adolescents think differently, and during this 3-part video series she discussed:
  • How brain development affects behavior and decision-making
  • The role of trauma, mental health and substance use
  • Differences in emotional recognition
  • Ages for brain growth spurts
  • Executive functioning
  • How to help build resiliency

If you haven't had an opportunity to view the Clarity CGC Hope for Children 1 YouTube channel, you can access it here.

You can also access our library of On-demand videos here. And keep an eye out for new videos we'll be adding to our website in the coming months.

We would also like to thank the many mental health professionals who have spoken during our monthly CEU community presentations over the years. We appreciate all of your insight, time and expertise to make these such successful events!
