Pinwheels, pick-up trucks & record-breaking participation!
The Marriott Rivercenter was a garden of colorful pinwheels on Tuesday, May 14th! That night, Clarity Child Guidance Center Center celebrated our 24th annual gala and recognized San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro with our 2013 President's Award. We honored Mayor Castro for his commitment to children in San Antonio and helping to meet the mental health needs of children, adolescents and families in our community.
Clarity CGC also raised a record $576,000 in total revenue from donors, sponsors and guests during our Annual Gala!
Great leadership contributed to our record-breaking evening! Thank you to our Gala Chairwoman Barbara B. Gentry, who led a Gala Committee filled with local leaders.
Our appreciation also goes out to our Master of Ceremonies for the evening, San Antonio City Manager Sheryl Sculley, and our Honorary Co-Chairs for the Gala, USAA CEO Joe Robles, and H-E-B Chairman Charles Butt, represented by H-E-B President of San Antonio Food & Drug Division, Suzanne Wade.
We also appreciate the support of many individuals and organizations who donated items, purchased raffle tickets or contributed in a number of other ways for making this night a tremendous success!
