QANTAS BEGINS CONSTRUCTION ON NEW PERTH BUSINESS LOUNGE 
Qantas has begun construction for their brand new Business lounge at Perth Airport, promising customers an improved airport experience. The completion of the lounge will coincide with Qantas' move to a dedicated precinct in 2015. This move will provide passengers convenient access to Terminal 3 and Terminal 4 where Qantas will soon have exclusive use for Domestic and Regional services. The new precinct will have improved gate access, faster security screening, quicker check-in and more lounge facilities to deliver a better travel experience for Qantas customers. The new Business lounge will feature: - Capacity for over 350 customers
- Work zone with meeting room and conference facilities
- Barista service
- Dedicated dining area offering a "dish of the day"
- Exciting new food and beverage initiatives
- Wireless internet, newspapers, magazines and Foxtel
The new Qantas Business Lounge will complete their suite of domestic lounges at Perth Airport with their Chairman's lounge and Qantas Club already in operation offering 30 percent lounge capacity in their Perth market. |

QANTAS UNVEILS NEW A330 BUSINESS SUITES
 Qantas customers are set to experience a new standard of luxury on international flights to Asia and Hawaii, as well as key domestic routes including east coast to west coast services with new Business Class Suites. The new Business Suites will feature on Qantas Airbus A330 fleet and will be progressively introduced from late this year.
The new Business class seat will offer the highest levels of comfort, privacy and intuitive design:
- The world's first seats that allow customers to recline in their seat from take-off through to landing, a key point of difference from all other carriers
- Designed in collaboration with Marc Newson, offering fully flat beds and direct aisle access for every customer in 1-2-1 layout
- Enough space to eat while continuing to work

QANTAS NEW ECONOMY INFLIGHT DINING EXPERIENCE
 Qantas passengers travelling in Economy on Qantas international flights will soon enjoy a new inflight dining experience offering more choice, more generous meals and exclusive online dishes.
The meal size will increase by 50 percent and the meal choice will increase from two to three main meal choices - a healthy option, comfort food and a meal inspired by the destination itself.
If passengers decide to select their meals in "Select on Q-Eat" prior to departure they will have the choice of a fourth meal. Passengers will be served a welcome drink after take off and self-serve snacks and refreshments are offered throughout the flight. Qantas meal trays will soon be replaced by new serving plates, giving passengers more space. |

LANGHAM HOTEL IN SYDNEY TO REOPEN
 The Langham Sydney will reopen its doors after undergoing a $30 million refurbishment and transformation on 2 December 2014.
Nestled in the historic rocks district on famous Kent street, this 96-room residence boasts the largest guestrooms in Sydney at 49 square meters with opening windows, Juliette balconies and their extensive signature terraces.
Langham's brand new global partner Wedgwood will join the hotel for their iconic afternoon tea. Afternoon Tea with Wedgwood will be hosted in a dedicated new afternoon tea space - Palm Court.
The refurbishment also includes the 150 seat Kent Street Kitchen, led by Parisian trained Chef de Cuisine, Daniel Rudolph, welcoming guests inside a real-life Chef's kitchen, whilst delivering a true fine dining experience.
Langham's signature Chuan Day Spa will continue to offer relaxation and luxury at the highest level with facials, massages and body treatments. |
Jennifer Waters, Senior Corporate Consultant from our Crows Nest office has provided her three of the best. AIRLINE - AIR CANADA: 
On a recent educational trip to Canada, I had the pleasure of experiencing Air Canada's Business and Economy class product.
Their Business class cabin offers a herringbone configuration, designed to provide passengers with their own personal space and a seat that reclines into a fully flat bed. They also offer all the latest in-flight amenities one would expect in Business class.
I also found their Economy class product to be extremely comfortable. Being the 777 aircraft, the seating configuration is 3-3-3 which always seems less crowded to me. In addition to an extensive selection of in-flight entertainment, each seat offers in-seat power for a laptop and USB port for charging, which is always handy.
Air Canada should also be considered when travelling to the USA. They offer many great connections through to internal US cities. And a great advantage of flying Air Canada via Vancouver is that travellers can clear US Customs & Immigration formalities in Vancouver which is less crowded and more efficient. A much more seamless way of travelling through to internal US cities, by avoiding the LAX experience.
DESTINATION - CANADA: 
WOW. Mother Nature's paradise! Whistler is located in the spectacular Coast Mountains - an easy two hour drive north of Vancouver.
Whistler is a year-round destination with so much to see and do. A fabulous place to enjoy the outdoors with two majestic mountains offering epic skiing and snowboarding in winter, four championship golf courses, hiking and bike trails plus spas, shopping, restaurants and bars in the vibrant village.
As well as being a great holiday destination, I would also recommend Whistler as a conference & incentive destination. We stayed at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler which offers great meeting space and conferencing facilities.
In addition to this Whistler can offer many great team building activities like ziplining through the trees with Ziptrek Ecotours Inc. and a Treetop Adventure Courses.

HOTEL HOTEL CANBERRA - A PLACE FOR PEOPLE PEOPLE
 Hotel Hotel sits in the pineapple shaped Nishi building, arguably one of Australia's most sustainable buildings, itself nestled within NewActon - Canberra's arts and culture precinct. Hotel Hotel has 68 rooms and 32 apartments known as the Design Icons. Half of the rooms' hardwood timber windows open onto the lake and trees, the other half onto the internal atrium populated with ferns from Tasmanian forests destined for clearance. UNITED AIRLINES NON-STOP FROM MELBOURNE TO LOS ANGELES
 United Airlines has launched its non-stop flight from Melbourne to Los Angeles. The route will be serviced with a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, which makes it the longest Dreamliner route in the world. The Dreamliner seats 252 passengers with 48 seats in business class and 204 seats in economy class which includes 88 "economy plus" seats with extra personal space and added legroom. United has previously served the Melbourne - Los Angeles route via Sydney but due to the new Melbourne flight has now re-timed its Sydney departures to Los Angeles and San Francisco to offer a greater range of connections for passengers.
The airline offers six return flights a week on the Melbourne - Los Angeles route until March 2015. Thereafter it will become a daily flight. |
AMORA HOTEL JAMISON SYDNEY - REFURBISHMENT
 The refurbishment of all guest rooms of the Amora Hotel Jamison is well under way with 234 rooms already completed.
The proposed conclusion date for guest rooms on levels 4-29 will be the 23rd of December 2014. All Jamison Club rooms will be completed in January 2015, as no work will be carried out during the Christmas and New Year's Eve period. The refurbishment only includes soft furnishing work in all guest rooms. The bathrooms are considered to be in excellent condition and little to no disruptions for guests are expected.
Four floors will be isolated at a time to create a secluded buffer floor between occupied guest floors as work will be carried out between 9.00am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
