SYDNEY DOMESTIC TERMINAL - INTERNATIONAL TRANSFER MOVES TO GATE 15
The Qantas International Transfer Gate at Sydney's Domestic Airport (Terminal 3) will move from Gate 1 to Gate 15.
Effective immediately all Qantas customers travelling internationally with a connecting flight from Sydney, will need to go to the desk located at Gate 15 in Terminal 3 to connect to their international flight.
Gate 15 is conveniently located in the centre of the terminal, within the newly redeveloped food and retail space and in close proximity to Qantas Customer Service Desk.
This move will see Qantas customers benefit from quicker transit times between terminals, allowing them more time to get through immigration and security, offering an improved airport experience prior to transfer. |

BRITISH AIRWAYS A380 FLIGHTS ON SALE NOW
 Seats are now available to book on British Airways A380 services, offering the chance to experience new levels of innovation and comfort, alongside the service and style that is unmistakably British Airways.
British Airways A380 will offer four cabins and a total of 469 seats.
The First Class cabin will offer 14 seats on the main deck with more space available to provide increased privacy and personal space.
Club World will be situated on both the main deck ( 44 seats) and on the upper deck (53 seats).
World Traveller Plus will be situated on the upper deck with 55 seats.
World Traveller cabins will be available on both decks, with 104 seats on the upper deck and 199 seats on the main deck.
British Airways will fly five times a week from London Heathrow to Los Angeles and vice versa starting from 15 October 2013.
Daily services from London Heathrow to Hong Kong are scheduled for 15 November 2013. |
QANTAS OPENS LOUNGE IN SINGAPORE
Qantas have opened an all-new lounge at Singapore's Changi Airport with a host of high-end features including a Neil Perry Rockpool menu, hawker centre-inspired open grill station, a cocktail bar plus a valet service for top-tier frequent flyers.
Revealing a new concept for the airline's international lounges, the Qantas Singapore Lounge draws on Qantas' flagship lounges in Sydney and Melbourne while adding several new elements into the mix.
This includes a live cooking station and communal dining areas inspired by Asia's lively hawker centres.
The lounge's Y-shaped design creates three main spaces beyond the slick lobby. This includes the cooking stations and buffet, with a series of shared dining tables running around the perimeter of the lounge. The other wing is where travellers can relax before or after their meal. This vast space is decked with scores of comfortable lounge chairs in a variety of styles and configurations.
 The Qantas Singapore Lounge is open daily from 2.30pm to 11pm. The wide-ranging access policy covers:
- Qantas Business Class passengers
- Business Class and First Class travellers on Oneworld partner airlines
- Qantas Frequent Flyer Gold, Platinum and Platinum One members travelling on Qantas, Emirates, Jetstar or a Oneworld partner airline
- Oneworld Emerald and Sapphire members booked on a Oneworld operated and marketed flight
- Emirates Skywards Platinum and Gold members travelling on either Qantas or Emirates flights
- Qantas Club members flying on Qantas, Emirates or Jetstar

SINGAPORE AIRLINES TRANSIT AVAILABLE FOR EVERYONE TRAVELLING THROUGH SINGAPORE WITH SINGAPORE AIRLINES 
Singapore Airlines and SilkAir customers transiting in Singapore have more to look forward to with the enhancement of the recently introduced Changi Transit Programme.
For a limited period from now until 30 June 2013, eligible customers will receive $40 worth of Changi Dollar Vouchers* (CDVs) per ticket. To qualify for the CDVs, customers must travel on Singapore Airlines or SilkAir on both their inbound and outbound flights, with a 13-digit e-ticket receipt number beginning with 618 or 629.
The CDVs are valid for one-time use at more than 450 retail, food and service outlets in the transit and public area of Terminals 1, 2 and 3, excluding outlets in the Arrival Baggage Claim Halls. These vouchers can also be redeemed for one-time access to the Ambassador Transit Lounge at Terminal 2 and 3 for up to six hours. Services at the lounge include showers, light refreshments, free non-alcoholic beverages.
Travellers can also look forward to amenities such as airport-wide complimentary WiFi, movie theatres and themed gardens while transiting at Changi Airport, where a convenient Skytrain transport system in both the transit and public areas provides easy access to all their terminals.

VIRGIN AUSTRALIA TRANSFORMS THE CANBERRA TRAVEL EXPERIENCE
Virgin Australia has heralded a new era of travel in the nation's capital by announcing a range of major enhancements to the travel experience, both in the air and on the ground.
To coincide with the opening of the new state-of-the-art west wing at Canberra's Domestic Terminal, Virgin Australia unveiled a range of initiatives including the introduction of Business Class on its refurbished Embraer fleet, which flies between Sydney and Canberra in 23 minutes. Virgin Australia has also opened its doors to a new 300 seater lounge, designed by renowned architect Tim Greer.
Virgin Australia customers will now benefit from more check-in counters, comfortable leather seating in departure lounges and additional passengers screening areas and baggage carousels within the new terminal space. |
