Attention Parents!  Reading and Math Enhancement Tutoring is being provided by Certified Teachers & Paraprofessionals, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30pm to 7:00pm in the Human Services Building at 945 - 20th Street, South.  Cost is $15.00 per child per semester.  For more information contact Doris Newton or Joel Shedrick at 727-822-0443, Extension 301.


Mt. Zion in conjunction with the Coleman Law Group, Dolman Law Group, and local attorneys, Deidra Brown and Patrice Featherstone, are sponsoring a Judicial Forum on Wednesday, November 5, 2014, at 6:30 pm in the Main Sanctuary. This forum is open to the public and will allow individuals to speak directly with judges on issues directly affecting our community.


 
Questions for the judges may be submitted in advance to community@mzprogressive.org  

 It's time for Oktoberfest 2014! Come to the Wildwood Recreation Center on Friday, October 31st from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Kids will enjoy a safe, free and fun evening!

 

It's the Thanksgiving season and our food basket drive is here!  Please bring non-perishable food items to the church by November 16th.   Items such as canned yams, cranberry sauce, green beans, and bags of rice, stuffing, black eyed peas, lima beans, boxes of corn bread mix are needed.

As we approach the weekend, make sure your bike is ready for another ride.  Join other Christian-minded riders, Saturday's at 7:00 AM, on the corner of  31st Street and 62nd Avenue South.  Great group, with great coaches, everyone encouraging each other. A great chance to enhance your workout.
