Bringing About Effective Change
On September 6, 2014, Mt, Zion Progressive will be joining other faith based organizations in removing the stigma that HIV/AIDS only effects the gay community. Over the years HIV has become "Black America's Silent Epidemic."
Our goal is to raise $2500.00, that will go to AIDS Services Association of Pinellas, INC. (ASAP), to help continue their mission of providing free HIV testing, counseling and education. Mt. Zion you can be a part of the effective change we want to make in our community by registering to walk in the 5K (a little over 1 mile) event, volunteer to work on the planning committee, and making a donation to help us reach our goal. Every walker who raises at least $25 will receive a free t-shirt.
Members, Ministries, and Friends of Mt. Zion, lets show-up for this worthy cause!
For more information, please contact Tracy Darity at 727-894-4311 ext. 207, or by emailing [email protected].
