Thank You to everyone who completed our survey on E-blast's & E-bulletin's.
According to your responses we are providing you with a viable outlet to receive information on what's taking place at Mt. Zion. However, many of you would also like to see information about community interests, as well.
The majority would like to see ministry specific newsletters going out at least once a month so you can stay abreast of information that speaks to the things that you are interested in. These should only go to those who want to receive them.
There is a need for more information on the church website for ministry meeting days and times, as well as better descriptions on ministries.
There should be a section for address changes and member updates in the e-bulletin. We have created a link in the right column that goes to our website resources page where members can submit updates.
Some would like to see the sick and home-bound lists added. Members can contact the church office to receive an updated list of our sick and home-bound members.
There was a 7-way split on when the e-bulletin should be delivered. We will continue to distribute the e-bulletin between Friday evening and Saturday afternoon, and add a second release on Monday's to all unopened emails. TIDBIT: The e-bulletin goes out to approximately 1600 hundred emails, however, we only average about 25% opens. If you know someone who should be receiving our emails, ask that they check their spam/junk folders and add us to their approved list. mznewsletter@mzprogressive.org |
