Membership Matters

Did you know that a member is someone who officially joined the church,  attends service on a regular basis, supports the church financially through tithes and offerings,  and share  their talents with our various ministries by volunteering?

If you have not been active in the past 18 months or longer, but are ready to reconnect, please stop by the New Members room after Sunday Service to reactivate your membership.

March 9th is  Red Pump Sunday

Ladies get ready to wear your red pumps, and men your red ties as Mt. Zion recognizes the importance of awareness for National Women & Girls HIV/AIDS Day (March 10th).

In 2011, women and adolescent girls (aged 13 and older) accounted for 21% of the estimated 49,273 new diagnoses of HIV infection in the United States. However, there is some good news: New HIV infections dropped 21% in black women in 2010.

AIDS Services Association of Pinellas will partner with Mt. Zion to offer FREE HIV testing on Wednesday, March 12th, from 4:00 pm - 7:30 pm.  Look for the mobile unit in the East Parking lot.

GET EDUCATED * GET TESTED * GET TREATED * GET INVOLVED
