Summer School Academic Programs

June 22nd - July 31st 2015

Monday through Friday (9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.)
The regular school year may be "out", but learning is always "in" at CLU!  We offer programs for students to practice core skills, complete existing coursework, or "get ahead" on the upcoming school year's academic schedule.

Why choose CLU Summer School Academic Programs?
CLU summer academic programs are:
  • Western Association of Schools & Colleges (WASC) accredited,
  • driven by our R.E.A.D. approach to learning,
  • facilitated by experienced, accredited CLU teaching staff in a low student/staff ratio,
  • planned using CLU Directions to provide age appropriate practice of organization, time management, independent study, and goal setting skills, and
  • scaled to meet the unique learning needs of each student we serve.
What will students explore?

Students in grades K through 8:

  • Participate in classroom-specific reading assignments, group projects, community outings, and art projects centered around our 2015 summer theme, Part of a Whole.

Students in grades 9 - 12:

  • Current CLU students participate in subject-specific assignments centered around our 2015 summer theme, Part of a Whole.
  • For students not enrolled at CLU, we offer an online program specifically designed for students with specific learning disabilities as well as those who are best served in a personalized, structured setting.
