Japanese Lace Leaf Maples On Sale through Fathers Day!

Many of you have seen our great Japanese Lace Leaf Maple selection at the nursery. These Lace leaf Maples are northwest grown, beautifully shaped and very healthy in both upright as well as weeping styles. The weeping Crimson Queen, with its sculptural and cascading branches make this one of the finest of the deep red laceleafs. The foliage emerges bright crimson, deepens to burgundy in summer and finishes with brilliant scarlet in fall. The upright Bloodgood has burgundy red leaves and turns brilliant scarlet in fall. It has interesting blackish red bark, is slender and airy, well-suited for use as a small lawn tree or for patios and entryways. The weeping Red Select is a dissected Japanese maple that typically grows in a cascading form to 4-6' tall over the first ten years, eventually matures to about 10 feet high and wide. Its lace-like foliage emerges light red in spring, matures to deep red-purple in summer and finally turns crimson red in fall. All our magnificent Japanese maples will work well in full sun to part shade.

Just In! True Dwarf Improved Meyer Lemons.
Dwarf Improved Meyer Lemons are one of the easiest citrus trees to grow and have fantastically fragrant flowers. The abundant fruit is juicy and less tart than many varieties. They are best grown in containers here in the Northwest and then brought inside as a house plant during the colder months. Easily pruned to a smaller size, the improved Meyer Lemons could grow to 6 feet or more if desired. One of our favorite citrus trees here at the nursery.
