Anti-dessicants help keep your  evergreens healthy all winter!

Anti-dessicants like ClearSpray and Wilt Pruf  are indespensible for both a vibrant winter landscape and helping broadleaf evergreens weather potentially punishing winter conditions, getting them off to a good start for spring.

It works by protecting many broadleaf  and needled evergreens from water loss through transpiration when the ground is too frozen for the roots to take up water. Drying winter winds make the problem worse, so by coating the needles and leaves top and bottom with an anti-dessicant, moisture loss is reduced through those dry, cold months. Not to mention the fact that these products also reduce injury from salt spray by setting up a physical barrier that helps prevent salt from pulling moisture out of the plant tissues causing dessication, and in some cases death,  during strong winter storms along the coast.

Stop by the sales office for Wilt Pruf (RTU spray, 1 gallon or 5 gallon concentrate)  and ClearSpray (2.5 gallon container). Don't forget to clean your sprayers after each use!
